Hard on the kid, but no other choice if they have indeed broken the rules. Will be interesting to see how the appeal goes though, both sides seem genuinely convinced they will be proven right.

There's also talk that the organisers might take action because the cars weren't loud enough. Would think if they managed to get compensation that any ticket holder could then claim against the organisers. Seems petty to me to even talk about breaches of contract. They've made a bunch of changes for various reasons and I think on the whole it made for a far more interesting weekend. No doubt there'll be teething problems but I think any negatives were outweighed by the positives.

Fuel consumption in motorsport. What a ******* joke. Surely the fuel in the tank is the rule. Use too much, there is your punishment.

Agreed....if you are allocated 60 litres then you put 60 litres in the tank, supervised by stewards and weighed before start and finish.

Cant be that hard surely?

Quite a bland race tonight. Great to see Dan Ricciardo battling against Fernando and Seb and passing them both, damn the kid can drive. All went pear shaped for him at his last pit stop with the wheel not being put on properly, forcing him to stop. The Mercs are too quick

You pretty clearly didn't watch any formula one, or read any sort of analysis. Webber was one of the better drivers. Not to the level of vettel no doubt but was very quick on his day and was renowned as the best racer in the field behind alonso. They were the two that could overtake when others couldn't.

His problems were his horrible starts, dickhead teammate, and a lot of bad luck

You are full of piss weak excuses for Webber, the Crows, illegal immigrants. I love it.

Webber was below average. Same car and couldn't even get on the podium half the time.

Look out. The Webber fanboys are here. Stats don't lie. Webber was below average. In one of the greatest race car teams in history, and could only just scrap together the odd win, while his teammate went 4 world champs straight.

Enjoy watching him drive around in the never was championship.

Webber certainly wasnt below average. He just couldnt beat Vettel consistently because Vettel is a freak....and at times politics didnt help his cause.
He was certainly second best when he had a good car.

You obviously know nothing about F1. There is always a number 2 driver that gets the raw end of the stick. And you do realise he was leading a world championship until the final race a few years ago?

If you knew, or watched any F1 it was continuously stated Vettel and Webber were equals and not 1 and 2. Rosberg and Hamilton are equals. Alonso and Raikkonen are equals.

Go away little boy. You are obviously full of shit mate, and have just been found out.
