I'd rather spend a weekend locked up with Bevan Spencer von Einem and his mates than taking out another team's membership, but that's me.

Unfortunately the act of going to games and supporting my club will be construed as tacit approval of the rancid new 'competition' so, and I speak only for myself, can't see that happening.

And you not going will change what ??

Won't change a thing I know but at least I won't be helping to perpetuate what is now a completely farcical competition.

As TSG says, you have to draw a line somewhere.

And that is fair enough. I respect your decision, as I do TSG's and OTR's not to go.

It just seems every damn thread degenerates into either we hate Port / Crows or your club voted yes, blah, blah, blah, like any individual on this forum had any influence over whether their club voted yes or no.

Part of the problem jtc is supporters didn't have a say. It was left up to an individual at each club that could be easily influenced, threatened, bribed with the corporate boxes each week at Adelaide Oval. I might be wrong and it might be the best thing ever for the SANFL, but members should have had a say.

In my eyes, the SANFL has been turned into the equivalent of the NEAFL. A glorified development league.

Like you said the threads just degenerate into blah blah blah.

Just like you jtc, I put my money where my mouth is. Just not as much. ;)

More people that don't go the better chance we have of revoking crows/power entry at the annual reviews.

Crowds of 500 and clubs making losses in the hundreds of thousands can make it obvious this was a mistake.

And it is going to need too be bloody obvious.

If you don't support this. Simply don't go to GAMES.

You can support your club in many other ways than attending. Buy memberships meals drinks use TAB facilities etc......

But attendance not a chance (accept for the first crows game at Elizabeth where I plan to show the powers that be why the vote needed to have unamious support) . If Crows fan think Victorians hate them, they haven't seen anything yet.

insert "against illegitimate reserves teams" between games and and, and I will agree.

They can dump these fake practice teams into Our Comp - but they can't make us watch them, or indeed acknowledge their legitimacy in any way.

True. I know I wouldn't be a member, using CDFC facilities if they voted YES.

But for those that feel an undying loyalty to their club but are against the AFL team entry into our comp.

You have options and I urge you to not attend games.

As the Crow (AFL reference intended) flies or by road???

Darwin under 3000 km away by plane but being a true 'Territorian you knew that.....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Have to agree with Stamp - the 'bird has flown' somewhat.
Probably pointless to bring out 'Eric' now.

Also agree with UK Fan re: Crowd Numbers, but...
That could also spell 'death' for a couple of Clubs too.

Well done TSG on the South Membership.

Morphettville for me this year predominantly - will attend some South games @ Noarlunga though, hopefully catch up will Southee in the bar :D
Might go to the Bay for Tiges v Cows too - that should be fun with the Snouts :D

Sad to see what is happening in Perth - seems we will follow suit if they vote for them to stay :(
