Serious question here, where does he slot into our line up?

Hopefully has matured since moving interstate....and the media stay off his back and let the willow do the talking.

Klinger
Hughes
Cosgrove
Ferg
Cooper
Botha

players to miss out
Head
McDonald
Raphael

would love for them to fit head in too, not sure how they could if all those play though.

on last season's form, that would be the strongest batting lineup in Australia by a fair margin, with the possible exception of NSW when smith and clarke are playing.

Hopefully he doesn't shake up a WKD premix next to me @ the Elephant @ 1 in the morn this time and spray it all over the bar like a Peter North Money Shot.......

Fair point, McDonald, if fit, could certainly take the place of a bowler.

I do think we need to play 5 bowlers though, so I don't think head could play instead of McDonald or another bowler.

That side could win a shield. IF...All fit and available.

Perhaps they are expecting Hughes to play more for Australia next year, so Cosgrove to open the batting and hopefully keep Head in the side at 3

Too bad Cosgrove knows what it feels like to win a Shield. Probably only Hughes is the only other in the Redbacks squad that knows as well....

I'm glad to see him back.
There's a bit of the Boof scenario here.
Lehmann went to Vic, won a shield (with Peter Nobes), then returned slightly more experienced, disciplined and more mature of demeanor and was the talisman we could build a batting line-up around.
I hope Cossie can do the same.

Interesting that he could come back and replace a fellow TOSer in the side.
