Due to that same strong Glenelg connection, I am supporting the Crows in the SANFL also.

It's all very logical, if you don't look at it on a shallow basis.

So you'll be supporting the Crows SANFL team against Glenelg?

ANZAC Day footy - bring it on.

Let's just say that I'll certainly be there in my Crows gear.

but after the dawn service, the march, and post march "refreshments"/rehydration strategy will you be "OK" for the game??

Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Maxy, like the old days, you "can't let your mates down, until you're dusted off".

There's no going AWOL on ANZAC day.....

Is there an ironic subtext to this I'm missing?

I've detested the rancid actions of my club over the last six months but could never, would never actively barrack against them as this guy seems to be implying he will be.

For mine , it casts into sharp relief the insanity of having the two new teams in the comp where you're forced to choose between your bullsh*t underachieving rabble, ie the Crowz, and your original SANFL club.
'People are not stupid. They know when they are being conned. And two reserves teams operating in a League competition will reduce it to a farce, a competition without a soul.'

i have probably been one of the only people silly enough to say that i like the reserves concept on this forum.

but i still wont be supporting the reserves team, i am a centrals supporter.

when centrals and the crows reserves play ill be hoping for a centrals win, but that crows players also play well.

I will be hoping adelaide win against teams other than centrals, but i doubt i would ever go to a game, other than for interest as to how crows players are going and how that relates to the crows team.

for what its worth i can also see the logic of people switching to a local SA team when the crows and power came into the AFL. I also understand why others might not have wanted to change, but to say they think it is illogical is just blatantly stupid. but not unexpected given this forum.

We really do need a "not Like" post option or to be more succinct "Get F***ed"

I've heard their passionate and raucous lot when barracking.
Both of them.

Have a friend who used to support Glenelg who surprisingly changed his allegiances to the Crows Reserves. Sent me a Christmas card telling me how much he is looking forward to his side constantly beating Central, something his former side rarely did *grins*
Guess you can't really blame a Glenelg supporter for changing! :D

Question for Adelaide based followers of the two Adelaide based AFL entities:-

Say you had to permanently move to another spot on the mainland, let's say Geelong. Who would you follow, and why? I'd be most interested to hear from that portion that have already dropped allegiance for a Melbourne based side to follow Adelaide or the Power.

(A touch off topic but a bit of license if I may.)

I know I'm not a Crows or Power fan but If I had to move to Geelong I'd kill myself. Does that help?
