Rnd 4 - Glenelg v Adelaide @ Gilderol (Fri N 25/4)

Postby Big Phil » Tue Apr 22, 2014 12:00 pm

A second game of footy on ANZAC Day will be played down the Bay between the Tigers and Crows, with some speculation the Adelaide Crows AFL star forward Taylor Walker could resume his comeback from a knee injury in this clash.

The Tigers are sitting at the foot of the table, without a win, after a Good Friday loss to the Panthers, while Adelaide are coming off their first victory in the State League competition with their Reserves side defeating the Bulldogs.

Tigers fans will be worried this could be their second sound defeat at the hands of AFL Reserves sides within the first month of the new season...

The Bays will consolidate their position on the ladder with a percentage boosting loss.

I'd say more metropolitan Adelaide based personally. State based should refer to a competition with all regions represented.

Crows by 23 goals

It is a state league but calling it what the crows call it just makes me sick

I think this week will be the week a lot of crows supporters go to watch the reserves. Only if walker plays. Even though I support North I will head to glenelg after the Salisbury north vs pt district game. And watch a couple of qtrs

So you've given the Eagles up, now support South but are going to watch Glenelg v Adelaide. Is this correct?

OK, I will explain - not sure why I have to:

Not sure I will 'support' South - paid member though.
Will wait & see for how 'passionate' I support them.
Going to the Bay - my late father's Birthday is ANZAC Day, so I go to footy every year on that day - I trust that is acceptable to you

I always like to catch up with the 'Bays blokes' @ least once a year - Stampy, Dirko, Spargo, Pseudo, etc. :)

As I've stated already - I still support the Competition but won't support a 'Club' as such.
By paying @ the gate, my money goes to the competition.
By buying a Membership of South, my money goes to a Club that voted 'No'

Is that OK?

Acceptable to me? You didn't have to answer if you didn't want to.

Do what you want mate, I was just trying to understand who/what/where you now support.

Sorry for asking.....well, not really.

Anywho, with big Texas back ( be still my beating heart ) Adelaide should pummel the hapless Bays into submission.

0-4 25%. Bewdiful.

I hope all those blokes will be there to catch up with, I have a feeling not all will attend afl reserves matches.
