Pity they can't recall the recipe.

Carlton cold is worse IMO.

I don't get the concept of calling beers "dry", I've spilt many of them and they all seem wet to me.

Carlton Cold was a beer I drank when I was 18.
Couldn't believe it a few months ago when someone offered me one and it was mid strength

I had a mate who would only drink that back in the day, it just didn't agree with me.

I have another mate who only drinks VB, I'm sure it's because if anyone else runs out of beer, they wont go stealing his.

Say what you like about VB, apart from XXXX Gold, it's the biggest selling beer in the land.

Have developed a taste for Fat Yak in recent times. Nice drop. The Irish Whiskey has been copping a good belting lately, Teeling and Kilbeggan are the latest I've had a go at.

Very interesting story behind that lot.

They sold part of the recipe to CUB who now Brew it.
But its nothing like the original from what I had been informed.
The guy who sold the rights is happily retired

Just got Yenda Pale on tap at work. Think the staff have knocked off half the keg by ourselves :-)

The last week has seen me down an assortment of craft beers, my favourites so far have been South Australian locals 'Amazon Ale' brewed in Renmark and Steam Exchanges Indian Pale Ale of which is brewed in Goolwa.

I drink it a bit. It's light in taste and body. So it's harmless. A good beer to drink if you're wanting a beer but also want to drive later in the day.

It's a mid strength, so it's similar to Carlton Mid strength. If you're not into mid strength beer, then I can't say what it's like. It's not my favourite beer but I found it great out of a tap at the footy (in Melb) when I knew I had to drive later that day.

I tend to go for Coopers Mild Ales instead but it's worth a try.
