That heavy rain/hail hurt Glenelg, their tall forwards were very dangerous up until then (going to stretch a lot of teams defences). Both teams went hard at the footy all night, was an old school struggle in the wet. Umpiring was ridiculously inconsistent, bloody frustrating to watch. Norwood had a little more polish in the end, but you couldn't question both teams endeavour all game. Happy to get the win and hopefully some confidence back into the group.

So cold tonight, almost had an innie.

^ saved me typing it myself.

And three boos to the GFC bar for running out of stout BEFORE the game had even started...

Margin was a fair reflection of the match and Norwood won it in the 1st 15 mins.

Half way through the 3rd quarter and the Bays were playing better footy. I was looking forward to going out to the 3/4 time huddle to give some encouragement. Then the hail and heavy rain came.

Aaahhh, what a joy it is to be a fair weathered supporter and stay dry in the stands.

1,898 - poor turn out regardless of weather.

If there were no AFL reserves teams Tex would've played last night, crowd would have been over 7000.

I blame Chapman and the Crows for the poor crowd. :D

Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Poor turn out, but about what I expected. Coldest May day in 33 years after all and has come on very suddenly, not at all surprised people stayed home. Unfortunately a prior commitment prevented me from making it last night. Hopefully we can bounce back next week, but given our recent record at Woodville I'm not confident.

Many people would of been put off by the weather. Im still thawing out after being pelted with hail. Should thaw out just in time for the game at Penguin Park Saturday night

If the forecast for next Saturday stays as is fair chance the penguins won't appear

We can't organise enough stout for the night , how the hell can we get something so vital as a ground announcer spot on ?
