Bruggemann is indeed quick with his hands for a big man, looks like he could have a career at SANFL level ahead of him.
Do you reckon he'll stick around at the Power reserves for ten years? Genuinely interested in whether non-listed players are going to stick around for more than a couple of years.

Ellis-Yolmen looked alright from what I saw and he made into the Crows bests.

I didn't even recognise Krakouer he's put on a bit of weight.

However, Ellis-Yolman really needs to make every post a winner, doesn't he? Surely he'll be off the list at the end of this year if something doesn't happen.

No worries, thats all ive heard as well haha Anyone else see the game?

I agree, Ellis-Yolman isnt as far developed as AFC would have liked. Him and Lyons should be our depth players, yet they still arent up to the level. They do rate him as a bit of a project player but the clock is ticking for sure.

I watched the first qtr and I reckon Ellis-Youman and the Charlie bloke were 2 of the cows better players. Not sure after that.

Ellis-Yolmen looks good because he wins plenty of the ball but his decision making consists solely of 'Grab ball, kick ball as far as possible' and nothing else. Every second kick of his either went to a Port player. People talking up Camerons game but he did next to nothing after 1/4 time.

Lyons was great, Martin was great, Walker was always dangerous and Rutten played a great game at FB. Knight was ok, Spina did a couple of nice things.

The previous highest rating SANFL home and away match since the start of the OzTAM people meter ratings system in 2001 was the Sturt v Woodville West Torrens match in 2005 (56,743 viewers).

Seven’s SANFL IGA League telecasts are averaging 47,841 viewers after five rounds – a jump of almost 28,000 viewers per match after five rounds (20,193) of the 2013 season on the ABC.

They certainly promoted the game heavily, as expected. Constant ads during the Crows/Dees game and a regular scrolling message across the bottom of the screen during the movie that followed.

Erm, it was an AFL match between two AFL teams.

Sheesh, some people aren't up to speed here.

Thought I'd mention the official bests for each team.

Port: Moore, Summerton, Krakouer, Mitchell, Amon, Logan, Bruggemann

Crows: Martin, Lyons, Otten, Walker, Kelly, Ellis-Yolmen

Krakouer looked silky around the back half while Summerton and Bruggerman again stood out. Mitch Harvey showing some real promise as a key forward while Tom Clurey and Tom Logan did pretty good work on defensive 50.

I can see what you were all complaining about with players getting gifted games at SANFL level. Lewis Johnston got a free game to his career tally yesterday and will get another one next week.....

If I was forced to play for Happy Valley when I was a Shoe Boy I'd play shit too.

What a load of crap.. they are professionals, this is their career - their job! If they aren't happy playing for side 'B' as opposed to their preferred and original side 'A' then perhaps they need to look at a change of professions!
