My first trip to see Sturt play at Alberton this Sunday. Should be a good game but thinking Ports expereince and fitness will be the difference.

I expect the Power reserves team to win by 30+ pts.
Its funny listening to people i know who are MAD PORT SUPPORTERS both AFL & SANFL who try & tell my missus that they have more Magpie players than AFL listed players in their side.
Watching the 10 minutes i did on 7 mate on the weekend i'm sure i heard the commentators say Port had the " LEAST " amount of AFL listed players playing against the Crows that they have had all year & that was 13.
My calculations reveal thats only 8 Magpie players then................................ am i correct?
Earlier games their was obviously around 15 AFL & 6 SANFL.

Such is the sorry mess of the SANFL.
Non Power Magpie supporters have been truly been shafted by the promises from the One Club vote.
But what do you expect.

Certainly have, if you said we would have beaten Norwood and North i would have called you an idiot  but its great to see Seamus and Brodie get the boys up and about playing for the guernsey. Dissapointing to have dropped the game against the eagles though, thought we had enough chances to win it.

I think we will be able to push the power but think they will over run us in the end. Hoping to still be atleast in the contest going into the last qtr

Renouf being called up for the Franchise will help Sturt in the ruck, hopefully our midfielders can get first use of the ball.

Where were these people when the Power went into the AFL and had pretty much 100% support from members?

Port Adelaide knows very well that 95% of Port Adelaide fans are behind both the Power and the Magpies. Our loyalty as a club is to Port Adelaide in both forms, not to a weird minority that support one for some weird reason. And our overall membership numbers(52k and counting) shows that we've made the right decision, so all you fans of other SANFL clubs can take your worries elsewhere.

No post match thread for this one?
Can't say I was much surprised by the result. Port Power Reserves have been marching through the SANFL sides since they got their game together in round 1 vs Norwood.
What do you think Port fans? Were you just too good? Do you think any side is going to get anywhere near you this year? Love to hear your thoughts.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

Kirkwood seems to be having a very good year from Sturt since crossing over
What was situation with him and Port
Did he to leave because there was no room for him ????
If so it has certainly paid dividends for him
