Round 7 - Glenelg v Central @ Gliderol inc Post Match

Postby Big Phil » Tue May 13, 2014 12:03 am

The Tigers are coming off yet another disappointing loss, this time to the in-form Eagles. They will host the Bulldogs, who showed some great fighting spirit to pinch the win from the Roosters out at Elizabeth in the last few minutes...

This game should be an interesting one, as Central generally don't play the smaller grounds well. Could go either way, a real toss of the coin...

GLENELG v CENTRAL DISTRICT

Gliderol Stadium, Glenelg

Saturday, May 17th 2014

Reserves @ 11:25am

League @ 2:10pm

Broadcast - 1197 RPH Adelaide, from 1:30pm*

*This game was initially being covered by Channel 7 originally but today the SANFL were advised by 7 that they want to cover this game instead, so 5RPH have swapped and will now call this one.

Both teams are ordinary but Centrals best has been a lot better than Glenelgs' best this year.

Though the Dogs may have some injury concerns with Goodrem, Habel, Retzlaff, Hoksin and Waldhutter all in doubt imho.

Yeah, Lonegran missed the Eagles clash with a back related hamstring problem and I think, from memory, Shaun Tapp and Max Proud were injured last week, as well...

The Dogs will be without Hoskin, Goodrem and Habel, by the sounds of it...

Depth to be tested by both clubs now, by the looks of it...

No Butts so James faarking useless Jones is in.

Mark down a 10 goal percentage booster for Central.

Do you know if the big fella played in the Barossa last weekend, Dogwatcher?

He wasn't on the Bays Rreserves stats sheet from last week so figured he was either injured or playing elsewhere?
