Petrenko is a gonaski which is great for all in the AFL, Cameron looked good but best not to get too excited early he could peak early like a certain J Neade then spend the next season & a half toiling away in the reserves
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

From my experience, as a Collingwood supporter, you expect to cop abuse from Crows supporters after a game. So it's no surprise to hear supporters from both sides went the biff afterwards.

Before you tee off, that's a reflection of both supporter groups.

Well with the exception of it being a Thursday it was the perfect night to destroy the bevvies. Feeling a bit average this morning and the wallet is certainly a lot lighter.

Now if only they could install a bar on the trains for my hour trip home :)

from the limited time I watched the match I was impressed with the desperation of Cameron

his display of chasing, tackling was very impressive, but the task is now for him to continue that.

certainly provided a spark that the crows have missed this year

AFL Round 9 Discussion

Even harder to see on tv, but at the ground he was amazing. Out worked betts by that much in the first half it wasn't funny. Betts lifted in the second half probably because of the efforts of cameron. As i said earlier he was fumbly early bit worked well after that.

Pods also worked really hard both ways.

Dont think Neade has peaked early DB, but you certainly wouldnt pick him over Gus, Gray or Wingard. Neade is being kept out of the side through the dynamic impact of one Matty White, who has really added something to our group since last year. Neade has been in solid form for the pies, but is a fair way off those 4.

Well its happened twice now. Surely either a louder siren or an earpiece for the umpire needs to be looked into before it costs a side a game, or potentially a final. Can you imagine the uproar if the power or crows hosted a prelim final, and the crowd noise was so loud the siren wasnt heard when a mark was taken by the opposition who converted to send them into a GF? The umps wouldnt be able to leave the stadium changerooms for a week!!!

Its fine when it works in your favour and the outcome of the game wasnt affected, but sooner or later...

Yep agree

It was bloody loud though...

They all have earpieces now for talking to the video ump so yeah maybe they can put the siren through.

You see in basketball with the light behind the backboard. With all the grounds that have led screens as advertising boards on the boundary what's stopping them flashing as soon as the siren goes?

Also there has always been a small delay for the siren after the clock runs down so I believe that was a goal...

Very good point actually. Could flash it up on the replay screens.

Can also use it to check if a goal has been touched.
