AFL Round 9 Discussion

Postby bennymacca » Thu May 15, 2014 10:13 am

Couple of interesting games this round.

Image

My tips.

Collingwood by 25
Sydney
Richmond
North Melbourne
Geelong - reckon they will go alright over there given they had the bye last week
Gold Coast - could we see a finals berth this year? They will be 6-2 if they win this week. Hardish to miss from there.

Not sure why, maybe because it's been a while since they've beaten them, but Ive got a nagging feeling the Crows will go real close tonight.

You can feel a buzz just because tex is back. You can argue how good he is all you want but he, along with sloane and danger, are the heart and soul of the team, and he will be a huge boost

My money is on 2.2, with one out on the full.

With all the hype the media has given to his return, he ought to back it up with 15.0 to justify it all.

Or he could put a couple on the board and get subbed as they want to ease him back in to AFL level? Obviously depends on how the game is going, but if it looks over at say 3 1/4 time this could happen.

Pav's 300th after a loss on the road, Freo will certainly be up.

For mine, Geelong are a much better side and the Pav and loss factor won't be enough for Fremantle to bridge the gap.

Freo all the way. Scott has no clue about Lyon's gameplan. Also, it's Pav's 300th they'll be up for it.
