Round 9 Yak

Postby Rik E Boy » Thu May 15, 2014 5:03 pm

Just a reminder lads and ladettes, Round 9 starts tonight. Like all Fasalo owners, Im praying for a late out. Surely they should have locked up that thug Marley Williams. Bugger justice, people's SuperCoach sides are at stake!

Done a few trades today
Mitchell to Hodge (I know they have the bye but I still have 20 starters this week)
Dunstan to Acres
Polec to Pendles

Gives me 7 premium mids (Ablett, Pendles, Stevie J, Murph, Beamsy, Fyfe dog and Watto) with Dommy Tyson my M8.
Still have 20 trades left now to work on my forwards and backs and 1 more mid upgrade (Tyson to ???)
If you don't like it, change it. If you don't want to change it, it can't be that bad!

Was very close to putting the VC on danger... Elected to stick with what has worked and have Pendles. Prob just stick with GAJ as skipper though... 128 is good, but I reckon Gaz has 130+ in him...
I am not talking to you for 3 minutes because you punched me in the head and it hurt and that was not okay for you to do

I need 71 from Jimmy Webster to get a W over Scos swimmers in divvy 4. Cant see it happening.
Ablett has had a 60 odd and a 90 odd v St Kilda recently, We both have Ablett as C and Beams as VC. I am thinking of taking Beams 104 as VC and hope Ablett goes under this. If Ablett gets a 90 will only need a 57 from Webster which is more achievable.
Big risk but one i may have to take,
Thoughts??

I wouldn't. St Kilda are rubbish and I reckon the odds are more in favour of Webster jagging a good score than Ablett going under a hundred three times against any opponent. Looking like an L either way but you could damage your percentage if you make the move and Ablett guns it.

Dodged that bullet Ablett with 116 at half time. Webster 46.
I looked into a trade to sure up the win but was $100 short of being able to afford Harbrow so stuck with Webster

Did it easy in the end, got the bonus of Zorko's 12 instead of Acres 4

WADH .. Took the C off Ablett to use the loophole and play it safe with Pendlebury, who outscored my opponents Captain.

Didn't realise Kolodjashnij wasn't playing so will lose, but would have won if kept the C on GAJ. I am my own worst enemy at this game lol

I didn't update my team from last week until after danger's 153 went begging, oh, and my captain played so couldn't get the C back on Gaz either.
That's an easy way to throw away nearly 250 points.
Danny Southern telling Plugga he's fat, I'd like to see that!

I've got my latest victim. Traded in Acres. He's the sub, runs on and inside two minutes the poor kid has broken his leg.

Thanks REB... Please advise your next trade target so I can steer well clear of him...
