That's embarrassing ' Panther Pants'. We beat the crows by 6 goals and you lost by 3. That makes us alot better than you. Woop Woop.

That was one of honest Joes concessions.
The Cows can never beat Norwood and his company gets the contract to build any new Cows facility

Having witnessed this game 1st hand from the Grand Stand, I empathise with the long suffering South Adelaide Fans.
The 3rd quarter 'performance' was disgraceful - the players must take the 'heat' for that. It was pathetic, quite frankly.
That said, their 4th quarter was much better but the damage had been done by then.

I counted 140 Cars only.
I would be surprised if more than 1700 people were there - where were the extra 4000?
No doubt home on the couch waiting for the AFL coverage to begin.

South were disappointing today :(

Noticed Lewis Johnston eating 3 x Steak Sandwiches during the curtain raiser, some old woman had a go at him; "That won't do your waistline much good".

Somebody tell me that was just a bad dream please?

Have had plenty of bad days at the footy, but felt numb watching that today.

Third term downright embarrassing. Looked complacent all day. Game had no intensity in the first half.

RPH said a crowd of around 2100. Bollocks. SANFL fudging figures. Basically nobody at the players race when the Ravens walked off, not much of a reward for their players.

Tend to agree with Fester on this one.

Some of the claims here are starting to get quite fanciful.

How long does the 'Crows can never beat Norwood' agreement last for?

Forever is a long time. Whilst Tripodi is still in business? Packard is still running his companies?

What happens when everyone complicit in this said 'agreement' are long gone, what happens then?

Perhaps the CIA did murder JFK after all, man never landed on the moon, and the US accidentally shot down MH370 and are covering it up?

Anyway, back to the thread.

Surprising result given recent form but then again with the Crows we always suspected that results will be very up and down.

South have been great so far but its a long season. Time will tell whether they have the stamina to last the distance. Slip up and there are a few side breathing down their neck to take their spot in the 5.

The stand, the outer and the 'shelter' area were about average, but as expected the hill was very sparse as there were very few opposition supporters there. 1500 tops.

The quote about them never beating us is made in jest Dedja.
But I dont doubt the vote was changed to Yes with some financial incentive
But anyway back on topic, the Bays and Dogs occupy the bottom two spots on the ladder

There was more people there than I was expecting.

Definitely a strange one today. Had a bit of a trial game feel to it. And particularly in that first quarter - 70 kicks to 34 and 40 marks to 9 - we had a lot of it in the back half and stuffed around with it, which went totally against the way we've been playing most of the year. After Eddy's goal around the 10-minute mark of the second term to push the margin out to 19, it was starting to look alright. There was a definite sense of complacency though and to give up 13 of the next 14 goals was a goddamn shambles. No one took responsibility in that third quarter. Ellis-Yolmen, Crouch, Reilly and Callinan were everywhere the ball was just to name a few, and too often the Crows won the ball out of the centre very easily. They definitely love those big grounds, pushing it wide a lot. Last quarter effort by us was bittersweet - good to not give up, but how the hell can we play so well for a quarter after playing absolutely atrociously and without heart in the previous 30 minutes?

Thompson was good on Eddy. Thought the efforts of Rose, Gotch and Liddle (despite a couple of crap turnovers) were largely good. Gotch seemed to injure his leg (or got corked?) in the last, and his relatively simple kick for goal minutes later from 35 out failed to make the distance. Thewlis and Fields racked up big numbers and were good, but stuffed around with it too much across the half back line at times, but they were certainly in good company.

Just one of those that got away.

I have told Joe to his face it was a spineless decision.
I have also thanked Joe for saving the Club in the last eight years, and for the thousands of dollars of his own money he's put into it.
Funny how I never see you at the monthly information meetings asking questions. You don't know half what you pretend to know.
Oh, and the next time you call him a c*** I hope he plants his fist in your face. He may have made the wrong call on the Reserves, bur we're only here because of him. Maybe I'll do it on his behalf.
You're only happy when you're moaning.

Sorry for posting in a post match thread not involving my club.
