Round 12 - South v North @ Hickinbotham (Sat 5/7)

Postby Big Phil » Mon Jun 23, 2014 10:27 pm

Both sides coming off close losses, this will be an important victory to the side that can claim it...

Should be a close one, perhaps we might have the first draw at League level of season 2014?

Very important game for South.

Win - still in touch with Double Chance but more importantly get some breathing space between them & 5th.
Lose - Drop back to the teams fighting for 5th spot & may well be no way back.

Reluctant to go because I haven't seen them win a game LIVE yet - bad omen?
Surely the South Players won't allow another insipid performance like the 3rd 1/4 of the Cows Reserves Game to materialise, will they?

North by 4 goals.

I'm tipping a draw, the football gods will want both of the sides I'm a member of not to win.
Thank god its payday on Thursday so I can buy another 15 jumpers to wear this week.

Which club hat will you be wearing this week ;)

Yeah I was in the same boat , so I made myself get off the couch and go to Glenelg a few weeks back just to prove to myself it wasn't me.

The other 4 games I have gone to are Crows , Centrals and Eagles at Noarlunga and Sturt at Unley.

Maybe we should contact the club and ask for a ransom not to go this weekend.

I have an uneasy feeling South will get up and win...lets hope so.

Why is it South supporters can never go to the footy being confident.

It is in our make up......seen it too many times before (no premiership since 1964) hence we are the most pessimistic supporters out there !!!

Why would South allow that wanker to be a guest?

Yeah hope he can find his way to the Peter Darley room through that 4000 strong throng of Crows supporters.
Interesting that the club should invite him...interesting that he should come given the SAFCs resistance to the AFL reserves sides in the SANFL this year. Personally id be very interested in what he has to say, and more interested to hear if he will field a few questions.....!!!

Just like the game against the dogs very important!! Lose and I'd say bye bye to finals! Win and we put two games between us and North so it's critical we win. Not confident as we still can't put four decent quarters together.
Let's hope the team can prove me wrong.
