I really thought those 3 players you had wearing light blue where best on ground.
the worst decision of the night went ports way. How could gray not get called for holding the ball when walker ran him down.
And as Tom Jonas stated on the radio. You go in harder and lower in those conditions you get the frees

That and Dangerfield's holding the ball virtually ripping Impey's head off.

Umpiring is at an all time low atm.

were the cows on top in round 15 2012?

Nope but the Crows had every chance to go top by seasons end in the last 4 rounds but weren't good enough and lost some games the ladder suggested they should have won. If you lose 1 tall down back and look vulnerable I suspect you'll be in the same boat. It's an opinion mate prove me wrong ill gladly say I'm wrong if you do so.

Doubt it but....

I thought as a whole over the weekend the umpiring was alot better.
They blew their whistle and threw it up alot quicker and there was far less of the Impey type holding the balls.

Here we go.......

You lost by 4 goal and I bet Port made more errors than the umpires did.

I never saw Geelong or Hawthorn blame umpires when winning flags....

You want to know my true feelings on the game LK? check my review on the port thread before you start shooting your gob off.

Not once did I blame umpiring for our loss today- there are a million reasons why we lost today- the men in blue were hardly one of them.

Joker highlighted a shocking call for HTB with Gray (Was probably about 6 that left me scratching my head wondering if the rule has been abolished), and I highlighted the Impey call as another one that left me bewildered.

Not sour grapes LK- the umpiring standard is alarmingly low imo, Dont stereotype me as an excuses man when the power lose.

Maybe I hit the button a bit early ;)

Mate in fairness it was a bloody good game and Port are a very good side. South Australian Footy was the real winner today, these 2 sides can play in bigger games in years to come.

And ill steriotype Pah supporters all I want whilst I enjoy my Apricot Slice....

Geelong not good enough. Can't win interstate - can't win the flag.

There should be no Impey type holding the ball decisions. I usually stand up for umpires but those holding the ball decisions really give me the sh!ts. F*** knows how anyone can attempt to get rid of the ball when 2 or 3 guys are lying on top of them.

Still would like to see next preseason having the holding the ball rule red hot along with incorrect disposal.

Ball it up as soon as there is a stoppage and that'll stop extras coming in and causing injury.

Incorrect disposal needs to be called a shit load more. Happens way to much and quality tackles are basically never rewarded.

The melbourne print and radio media as well as some coachesand greats of the game are getting stuck into the umpires and Wayne Campbell more and more after each round.

Will be interesting to see how much it all improves over the next couple of weeks before the Umpiring department reverts back to its old ways.

If nothing is said it will remain, or worsen.

There were 3 today that stuck out big time. Grey definately had time to dispose before being tackled and there was another shortly after with a Crows player tackled. The other was Polec being tackled and grounding the ball before disposal.

Impey getting pinged was a disgrace.

The robbie gray one I thought he got a quick handball in as being tackled.

BUT the rule has turned into a joke. So many tackles that should be rewarded and aren't is a disgrace.

The Port vs Adelaide umpiring was perfection compared to the Bulldogs vs Melbourne. Watching that game as a "neutral" I thought it was some of the most inconsistent umpiring I have ever seen. And no team was advantaged by it.

The holding the ball rule is probably the biggest blight on the game atm. And agree with the above. Impeys one was horrible, so was polecs and grays

Yeah saying the umpiring made port lose was just ridiculous. The crows just got to the ball first and there were so many high tackles.

I reckon Luke Brown's? Against North was just about the worst HTB call I've seen this season.
