That brings back some fond memories.

For my part I would prefer to sit awhile and enjoy the thought that Whicker is retiring....and later I'll get agitated about the replacement when, no doubt, he is picked from those already within "SANFL House".

I just hope we can get someone that will champion the 8 traditional SANFL clubs and the competition itself. All, it seems, that we've had recently are AFL lapdogs. The two AFL licences are done, AO is done, sort Footy Park out and let's start getting back to focusing on backing in the clubs that are what the league is actually about.

It's well overdue, invest in the 8 SANFL clubs, particularly now that the Port AFL millstone is now the AFL's problem.
