Is this every weekend? I'll take the missus there next weekend. She was bugging me to take her to the closest markets on Sunday, but I have a man-cold, so "politely" refused.

PS. Are the Fishermans Wharf Markets still on?

It was pretty busy when we got there so the meals took like an hour to get to us which was a point loser
but I got the pulled pork sliders, oh em gee, they were so good

would go back again for the same, was a nice place to chill for a drink before and after as well.

That place is on my list of "must gos" but I hate the city with a passion, so I'll have to get over that first.

Yes mate, every Sunday from about 8:30am. Has a really good *ahem* "vibe" there. Chilled atmosphere, good food, bit of music. Nice spot.

Parlemento was good, went with a group of 10 and all our meals came out together and steaming got even though the place was packed.

Had the mussels for entree and risotto for main, serves were huge.

All washed down with a nice McLaren Vale red.

look forwar to using my voucher there soon :D

Went to the Sailmaster at North Haven last night. They're renovating, so you have to walk through the front bar to get to the restaurant, but it wasn't too rowdy.

The staff weren't very helpful, and seemed pretty cold to be honest. And we tried Beez Neez. $9.50 each and tasted like someone put their smokes out in it.

BUT, the food was pretty good.

We got a tapas platter with 4 choices. Halumi, chorizo, atlantic salmon croquets and pate. $24.

The best part was the Mon-Thurs specials. $14.90 for mains that would cost $34 on a weekend. I got the Surf n Turf and the missus got the Seafood Boat. Very nice. And all for under $30.

We ended up paying more for the tapas and drinks than we did for the meals combined.

I'd give it a 7/10. Good food, shit beer choice (my bad) and pretty average staff.

HH3 could be our resident critic on all things culinary, he's eaten out more times in the last fortnight than I have the last 12 months.

I've eaten out more times in the last fortnight than I have in the last 3 years.

Moving into an area packed with dining options from Munno, which has Macca's, KFC, Hungrys, or the Red Lion  , we've been just a little excited

You'll like the Birkenhead Tavern and the Exeter on Semaphore Road then, close by and good feed at both.

The Rosewater isn't too bad either to be honest, weeknights have schnitzel/steak specials and the meals ( with salad / veg bar ) aren't too bad for what you pay for them.

Dunno haven't indulged. I'd rather have a mexicana schnitzel from the Rosewater FC for $12

I know some people who go to the Junction with monotonous regularity for the $5 schnitty, I know some who wouldn't go near it. I myself am wary of a $5 schnitzel from a place on Grand Junction Road. ;)
