Brendan McCartney quits as Bulldogs coach

Postby carey » Thu Oct 02, 2014 11:32 pm

So rumors now flying around the McCartney is gone surely not another one. What the F**k do the Western Bulldogs stand to achieve by sacking him now? Crows 3 weeks ahead of them, Gold Coast possibly 2 and Potenially Essendon as well so they could end up with the 4th pick coach outside the coaching ranks as it stands. Seems absolutely crazy to me!

People's thoughts?

I thought the bulldogs were improving this year. Just struggled with consistency.

There was talk a couple of weeks ago about some tense exit meetings but everyone was happy with that. I haven't seen anything that says sacking coming?

I heard it on the Radio yesterday then they discussed it on Footy Classified last night. I just don't see what the dogs can gain by sacking him at this stage.

D'FAQ?

So Griffen now stays ... and as captain?

Poor way to treat a coach in anyone's language.

So all you have to do now is sook to get your way at the Bulldogs?
