Interesting side.. do players make themselves available for these games? I would've thought despite being A2 the big head of Lachlan Sandercock might've got a start.. 26 poles @ 6.69

or Muldoon from SPOC?

Stagg and Grundy haven't done much this season.

But how on earth do the Fry lads make it...
Ryan, 4 matches, 4 wickets, 1 score over 4 (31).
Dylan, 4 matches, 1 wicket, 1 score over 4 (16).

Must be bloody handy fielders...

No one wants to play these games, waste of time.

Very true - slightly more interest than the T20 stuff that has lost almost all interest though.

Maybe associations should just go and organise their won inter-association matches.

I wouldn't say no one. I know it has been a challenge over the years for ATCA to get their best players to commit to these games, which is why they got Steve Sykes back in charge. He has done a pretty good job getting the better ATCA cricketers to represent the association. You have to reward players who have performed and some players in this year's team clearly haven't.

Senor - where is Lachlan Sandercock in this side?

The way he's been talking, i thought he'd be on the cusp of a call up to State duties

There's your first mistake.....never ever listen to anything he says. Thought Travis might have picked him, he has been trying hard enough to get him to play at Para Hills the last few years.

So if we were picking purely the best XI say from A1-A2 based on performances, what would the side look like? Far off?

Colville has had a good start to the year, but only faced Brighton and Payneham, he misses for mine, I'd bring in Matt Hill from SPOC.
Gabb gets the nod over Bailey for the keeper spot for me, slightly more runs and dismissals.
Sandercock would bat 11 if he made the side, but for mine I'm taking Roberts from SPOC. Big step up between A2 and A1, and anyone taking poles at 6.2 in the premier grade makes my XI.

1) Solomon 377@ 94
2) Hill 285 @ 47.5
3) Cameron 315 @ 63 & 7 @ 11.3
4) Hanson 277 @ 57 & 10 @ 20.7
5) Knowles 273 @ 68 & 8 @ 21.9
6) Gabb 252 @ 63 & 9 dismissals
7) Dent 145 @ 36 & 9 @ 18.7
8) Knight 130 @ 26 & 10 @ 12.2
9) Barber 14 @ 10.3
10) Muldoon 23 @ 10.2
11) Roberts 10 @ 6.2

12th Sandercock 26 @ 6.7
