We've had some great moments as the Athelstone (and in more recent years Scotch Old Collegians) footy clubs.

Wonder if they ever got sent those bills.

In Darwin in 2010 we had SFC all over our singlets, told everyone we were the Strathalbyn FC. Worked a treat until Strathalbyn actually rocked up later on the same weekend and were barred from some venues on Mitchell St.

For me it was playing against Eastern Park in 2002 or 03 (the year they went up from Div 4)
Team was full of feral pr1cks! In a prelim they took out atleast 4 players for the entire game by the end of the first quarter
-skipper kicked in face and end of him
-one was off to hospital for a good week and 2 others concussed
and the supporters....well they were full of postives

A visit to Dwight Reserve was an education.....Their limited vocabulary made it easy to spot those with single digit IQ's both on and off the field back then......

Pooraka signed George Long during the week. He might have played their a few years ago ? In saying that they could well lose Dale Armstrong to the crows reserves for most of the year.
