Houghton Dst 4 (8) FU(A) MP(H) SW(H)
St Pauls 5 (8) SW(A) AU(H) AV(H)
Adelaide Uni 5 (6) AV(A) SP(A) MP(H)
Angle Vale 4 (4) AU(H) Bye SP(A)
Salisbury West 4 (2) SP(H) FU(A) HD(A)
Mitchell Park 4 (2) Bye HD(A) AU(A)
Flinders Uni 4 (0) HD(H) SW(H) Bye

The main clashes i see is that St Pauls Adelaide Uni and Angle Vale all play each other over the 3 weeks and that could go along way in setting one of them up for a top 2 finish.

Angle Vale, Salisbury West

Battling, but surviving
Mitchell Park, Flinders Uni

If the ladder is dramatically different to that at the end of the year I'll be quite surprised.

Was our #1 Ticketholder while in parliament. We were dead in the middle of his electorate. Didn't bother him parking in the disabled carpark closest to the door either.

Out top end is as good as anyones - Roberts, Walscak, Hyde, Weekley, Bradford, Lindholm, McDonnell, Pike - so we're always competitive, but our bottom 5 have no right playing A Grade in my opinion - our depth is very poor. So when we cop 2 or 3 injuries (or holidays or weddings or whatever) to the wrong blokes, we can't grab a "star" reserves player to do a role.

This affects rotations as well, as we have to play our guns for longer and in more arduous positions. They get tired quicker and sure enough we're seeing teams kick scores in the second half.

We were in front in the third quarter against St Paul's, we were even with Adelaide Uni all day until the last, Angle Vale are the outlier, they went bang in the third.

Some people would say that is fitness - and I think that might be a slight issue, but I think it's more related to depth.

We need to add another 5-10 good quality A Grade players before we can climb back up.

I guess thats the same with alot of clubs its got to do with the last 5-8 guys in the side which determine how good the rest of the side will be. You need all 21 playing there role for things to work nowdays. You cant just rely on youre top 5 to get the job done. Id say it has more to do with skill than fitness at this stage morell!

Yep, agreed. Depth is so important and in my opinion is one of the major differences between not only the top teams in D7 but also between the divisions.

Some of the guys in our bottom five struggled to make our Reserves in our stronger years.

The calls for Ellingham to step up into the ones to make a deadly combo up forward grow louder by the week!

The muscles in my leg have atrophied and no ACL means when I try and run to the right, I literally fall over. I can barely move for more than 7 seconds without having an asthma attack. Also have my meniscus surgery booked in for the 5th of July followed by the full reconstruction before the end of the year.

I can fill in for a week here and there in a forward pocket for the reserves, but if I am playing A Grade, we're in desperate, desperate trouble.
