Ohh carn FC, get on board with the hashtags, once you get used to them they're pretty cool. Especially in the digital space.

Over on BigFooty you can tag a post with a hashtag and get it trending, then when you click that tag it shows you all the posts with that tag. Could be very handy little tool to clean up safooty a bit and make it easier to categorise and sort the wheat from the chaff.

You could have #d7tips or #lolmarbles or #morellsmyths for example.

How are people travelling with injuries? I know that we've had a terrible run so far this year and are yet to finish a game with more than one player on the bench if that. From talks with my opposition from St Pauls on the weekend he reckons they are in a similar boat they had around 60 on the list at season start and have used basically all of them by round 5

In one game we lost all 3 of our key backman by halfway thru the 2nd.

Then we lost our main man, leader of men, carrier of the flag, with a back like a bear and a head like a babies bottom against Salisbury West.

But apart from that not too bad :)

Actually that reminds me, the D6 thread had their most influential players for each team. Who would be D7s:

Angle Vale
Varcoe, Burgess, Gollan ...

Teams of the week are a bit naff anyway...

Team of the year where you can actually do some research and get it right, but team of the week? Unless you have someone who has the easily reachable contacts and can leverage them, or you watch tape of every game, it's almost impossible to get an accurate reflection. It's not the AFL.

For example, Walscak is a 20 year old skinny kid who runs off the back flank and occasionally plays up forward. He'd be half the size of a good centre half back! And if you're going to pluck names out the paper, get the names spelt right!
