Agree, these blokes are the worse of the worse!!!!!!

Had a recent experience where I caught a rock spider in the act with a disabled 18 year old boy who looked about 12 years old worse thing I have ever seen and affects a shit load of people!!!!

Hope this coach is raped every day if his soft priso sentence but we know that wont happen because he will be put all on his lonesome to protect him '**** that'

Obviously it's horrible for the victims and families, but the poor footy club involved in this would also be feeling pretty bad about this whole situation. Unfortunately, in any industry, profession or walk of life, there are sickos who will get through the cracks. Glad this one got caught early.

Yep I was as surprised as you. Amazing how the footy club was able to keep this quiet. Especially with a duty of care to all club members.

I also thought there was legal obligation to notify other parents, just like in a school situation.

I think, by law, they can't disclose the accused's name until they have given their plea.

no offense but your club came to mind first. Only by the location on the article. Sorry

Not offended. I would have been offended if it were my club and I wasn't made aware if it. You would think in times where other cover ups such as the Largs Primary School matter ended so badly that organizations would be more open. Is there a duty upon the club to report yo the SAAFL? Did they? What has the SAAFL done to introduce policies to make this harder to occur at another club. Lots of questions but no answers.

police checks are compulsory for all coaches now... Regardless what level you coach

If it was my club, i would have not got the league involved, it would be straight to the police.

Which you'd deal with regardless what grade you coach.
