Talk on the national game

At the time they were the only team and it would have been probably 70-80% of active afl supporters supporting the crows.

Nowadays it's probably more like 50% crows 40% port 10% others but as if you would change your song because of port Adelaide :)

So does this mean they only give 100% instead of the requisite 110%?

Maybe we can have the power to rule with aggression like some sort of dictatorship :)

When it comes down to it all songs are stupid except for Richmond and Melbourne. And nobody sings either in September :)

I recall the Tiser doing a poll on this a few years back. You are probably on to something here.... has there been a significant shift in the landscape in the last few years..... My guess (and it's only a guess) would be Crows 45%, Port 40% and all others 15%. As an example among a group of blokes I regularly knock around with are Geelong, West Coast, Freo, Essendon, North Melbourne, Collingwood & Sydney supporters, along with your standard Crow & Power guys...... The "interstaters" in my view have a larger following then many might imagine.

Out of my arse.

I don't reckon it's far off though, especially with people who regard their afl team as their first team. Lots of SANFL first supporters might have a smaller interest in another club and that isn't likely to change when the crows came in, so this site would not be a representative sample

We are the pride of Brisbane town, but not Fitzroy even though we merged with them, and not as far south as the Gold Coast, and definitely nowhere else

Yeah they say Brisbane, not QLD, where the GC is situated.

Did you know 65% of South Australians think the Adelaide Crows are a sooky, dishonest, arrogant club? I didn't know that. But there's a % sign after a number, so im gonna listen to my butthole.

Patrick Dangerfield has informed the Adelaide Football Club that he wishes to exercise his rights under the AFL’s free agency rules to return home to Victoria.

Crows Chief Executive Andrew Fagan said:

“Whilst disappointing, we understand that Patrick's decision has been made for personal reasons.

“We will now consider our options, however, our Members and supporters should rest assured that in doing so we will make decisions and take action that is in the best interests of our football club.”

The Club will make no further comment at this stage.

The Free Agency period doesn’t officially open until Friday, October 9, while the AFL Trade Period runs from Monday, October 12, until Thursday, October 22 at 2:00pm (AEST).

Think you are under selling the others there. Interstate memberships are high and I personally know plenty of non SA teams supporters. Only have to go out to a kids footy training now to see Crows and Port guernseys well and truly outnumbered. I know in my sons friend group who are in the 17-20 yo region it would be 30 % Port, 50% others and 20% Crows. Maybe times are changing
