First it was a great year, now it's a "good" year.

Then why not give him 2 years with an option?
4 years is a pretty long contract for a middle tier player IMO

yeah 100% agree with that, especially as he is likely not in our best 22 if we can get crouch back on the park, get one or both of hampton and seedsman, and potentially add up to 3 more players/draft picks in the dangerfield deal

Have you seen Seedsman play this season? Not sure if he's been injured or not but he has been very ordinary for the majority of this season.

Havent seen him a lot this season no, but I have seen him play some outstanding games for the pies, but there seems to have been a fair few go past him this year.

Certainly worth a look if we could get him for cheap imo

So sounds like we are going to roll over and take the compo pick. Very disappointing.

Just like the crows were posturing by saying they are going to match his offer and want this and that, now it's his turn.

No that is what Dangers management wants to happen. Crows need to hold out and get pick 9 plus a player as minimum.

The likes of Damian Barrett are now running with it and reckon Crows will roll over. To be honest it would not surprise me. Until we actually develop a spine and do something like match an offer or whatever, I expect the worst.

Is this just their opinion or have they spoken to someone?

I'd rather see us lose him for nothing in the PSD than take the compo!
