I fear we dont have enough and the Vics will bat for 2 days, make 600 with one of them getting a double and then roll us for 150 with their spinners on day 4.
Just the redback cynic coming ou, hope im wrong

Vics batting lineup is ordinary, we will roll them twice

We have the best 3 pace bowlers, should have played Andrews as the pitch is turning & bouncing all ready. Also Andrews would have given us a bit more batting also.

So the Redbacks play NO spinner whilst Victoria play 2.
Now that must be a hell of a rarity.
Cant believe they have gone in with 4 pacemen.
If 3 cant get the job done then 4 isnt going to.
Not to have a specialist spinner going into a 5 day match is inconceivable imo.
May well get away with it in the end but............................................

I thought exactly the same especially as it's 5 days not 4. But the question then is our the spinning options worth playing? Obviously with Zampa away.

Finally made it down here after a pretty ig night last night at the Mosley. Saw Tim Ludeman there, obviously making the most of his free time now that he's a spectator like us.

Get a wicket FFS

Vics batting very patiently, the advantage of a 5 day game, reckon if things go their way they will still be batting this time tomorrow and working on a big lead and hoping they can knock the backs over quickly in the 2nd dig

So Vic 2/213 off 64 overs
Opie - Specialist bowler has bowled 8 overs for 0/29
Head - Part time spinner - 9 overs for 0/47

WTF was Opie picked for?

One of the Biggest selection blunders in a long long time

Unfortunately some times you get what you deserve and not just in a game of footy.
