Norwood vs West at Coopers Stadium Sunday 7th 2:10pm

Postby Brodlach » Mon Jun 01, 2015 8:59 pm

Really looking forward to this game. West always struggle with Norwood but with a new game plan of attacking football hopefully it is a better spectacle.

I think former Ken Farmer medalist Justin Hardy after kicking bags of goals (22 goals in the past 4 reserve games) getting back to fitness deserves to be recalled to strengthen the forward line.

West too good for the legs. They have a new game plan which is more attacking than in previous years.
Norwood found out against WWT I think they will be found out against Westies too.

West by 4 goals. Norwoods dominance is now officially over. Baulderstone to get a lazy 27 hitouts.

Have to agree Jim05 - I think the better indication will be next meeting at Richmond when both sides should be near full strength - I am hopeful we can finally play some good exciting football against your blokes and turn the tables.

Being at home we would start as favourites, but West are travelling very well. Some very good ins for the Legs, especially to the team structure. Wilkins is a massive loss, going to need a big game from Chippendale or Smart across half back. West have some very good mid sized forwards who will need to be at their best to breakdown Norwood's stingy defence.

Should be a cracking contest, I can't wait for Sunday!

Norwood
F: Persinos, Chippendale, Levicki
HF: Allan, Davis, Donohue
C: Murphy, Webber, Phillips
HB: Cross, Panos, Jefferies
B: Roocke, Georgiou, A. Forster

R: Baulderstone, Suckling, Bartlett
INT: Dawe, Smart, Reinbrecht, Bode, Ferreira
IN: Smart, Bode, Dawe, Ferreira
OUT: Wilkins (back), Peter

West Adelaide
F: Green, Beech, Fielke
HF: Stevens, Tuck, Anderson
C: Homburg, Schmidt, Helbig
HB: Caire, Hartlett, Wasley-Black
B: Middleton, Keough, Hill

R: Nelson, Schiller, Silverlock
INT: Porplyzia, Willits, Hardy, Hampton, Ezard
IN: Hampton, Hardy

Why do they need a spy

Will it chance their game plan? I doubt it.
