Not a bad figure I would've thought given it's live on TV and 7's main channel at that.

Sunday's is the timeslot the SANFL like should make most games

In saying that the figure would be slightly inflated by the no Crows game this weekend

Norwood once again show they are a well drilled side who make the most of their chances. Looked like Sturt has plenty of chances and were very competitive throughout but couldn't finish of well enough in their front half.

I think the weather and the live telecast kept a few away. The fact it was a Sunday game kept a few of the regulars away also.
I got to the game just before quarter time and norwood had 7 goals before I got the family settled, so I didn't get to see the fashion in which they took us apart. After quarter time we matched them for intensity but our disposal let us down pretty often after having created the turnover and space to manoeuvre. If not for that we could have closed the gap a little more. One or two spilled easy chest marks, contrasted with some tough marks taken under pressure, so like the crows game last week, thought we had our chances but didn't take them. Outscored norwood marginally, in every quarter after quarter time, but for those errors, we could've snatched it in spite of the head start we gave them

Only managed to watch it on the box, but never really felt threatened at any stage. We played some top shelf footy in the first quarter - hard to know with my bias whether we should have played more of it or whether Sturt took a quarter to lift their game. We looked offensively dangerous when we moved the ball quickly, which was pleasing.

Was a good and animated crowd. And lots of Nwd supporters travelled "far" to support us at a near away game. However, serious question, how OLD is your average Sturt supporter? This is a club that perfectly exemplifies the perilous life of SANFL clubs at the moment.

At least I had a good excuse for not attending. You could still get your knitting done and enjoy live footy, we've nice warm stands at Unley where you Norwood fans can indulge your domestic past times and rub shoulders with hardened, but fair Sturt folk if you've the stomach for it.
