A ******* hoop rolling down a hill and Shaun Marsh is likely to nick it

In the last Test, weren't Warne and Healy saying that Marsh would be among the six to eight players in the squad who'd never play a Test again after this series?

IIRC, thought it was Ponting who suggested that, but maybe Warne agreed with it?
Anyway, can't believe they've all got S Marsh ahead of Burns, and maybe even Maddison and Head. Although I don't think Head has done quite enough to earn a test spot yet, would rather see him given a go than Marsh again.

Good to see us bat pretty well in conditions that gave the bowlers a little, but nothing too bad if you applied yourself. Australia's day. but towards the end, if one of those Voges nicks had gone to hand and then they grabbed another, the Poms could have been well back in it.

That, my friends was proper test match batting. Not this arrogant,we are going to try and blast everything, type batting from previous tests.

So much for being a demon pitch. Seriously, players and commentators are the worst pitch judges.

The pitch may well be worse than the previous ones, because it wasnt the pitch that was the issue in those games

Better late than never. Personally I think Boof and Rod Marsh haven't done a great job over there during this series. Yes, the responsibility is on Test Match players to perform but the selections have been questionable and when players are making the same mistakes you have to look at the coaching as well.

Annoying isn't it, it takes until the last test in a dead rubber for the batsman to pull their fingers out and put there head down and bat sensibly.

The commentators aren't great. ( Full stop )

Warnie couldn't gets Heals to bite about the "show" getting put on in the windows, knows Stephen Fry from living in London, thinks Rod Marsh is a flog but not as big a flog as John Buchanan is.

Mark Taylor just drives me up the ******* wall with his shit.

Ian Healy? Please.....

David Lloyd, now he's worth listening too.

Hate to say it but I reckon a lot of Boof selections since being coach (especially on the overseas tours) have been questionable

At least he was sensible enough to drop S. Marsh for this Test although seemingly everyone is chomping at the bit to bring him back in for that veteran contribution in the middle order with a dour 0-20 before starting to give the slips some fielding practice.

We had a good day with the bat and I'm still fuming!

I don't agree with the better late than never, who cares if we win this test?

Wall paper over the cracks. Bat properly when the series is on the line not against a complacent England bowling team in a dead rubber
