"team balance" is also the reason they gave for not picking natanui too.

They made big point about picking a balanced team, but the not have Natanui on bench....very strange. Also thought Dustin Martin was very unlucky

Hawks fans, who had a better year, Gunston or Rioli? Could have easily put gunston in the forward pocket and stringer on the HFF

Deledio, Martin, Gray, Swan all better HFFs this year too

my god the fap fest over Rioli has pissed me off.

Whilst he is undoubtedly a gun, he has not had an all australian year imo.

Yeah i thought that was interesting. I guess mitchell is on the bench.

No complaints over Murphy though, deserved it.

every other year in the last decade had at least someone who can ruck, cox, roughead, goodes, or a second ruck on the bench.

Frawley just said something along the lines of "how many teams pick a ruckman on the bench" so why should they.

well no other team has bloody sam mitchell on the bench either you goose.

this has me more worked up than it should haha

How many games can a player miss before they should be over looked.? Deledio is my favourite player ripped it up but he did miss 5 games.. Based on that you cant say he was better then Pendles or JPK (without having looked at the stats would have played most games)

I would have had Cameron at CHF too had a better year than Texan & Jumping Jack
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

yeah good point about missing games. That should have pushed it even more towards JPK.

wouldnt have had issues with cameron either, but having riewoldt in there smacks of victorians trying to shoehorn some vics into the team rather than picking the actual best player in that position.
