I feel like they've won a fair few B and C Grade flags over the last lustrum while their senior side has been progressively relegated.

I ventured out to watch my 1st Lockleys game of 2016, the battle for top spot at Rutland Ave was a close one, after inaccurate kicking all day Lockleys drew level with about 4 or 5 minutes to go, Blacks kicked the winning behind with about 10 seconds to go.

There was a bit of experience in the umpiring today, former SANFL/AFL umpire Richard Williams was one of the men in white.

Lockleys looked tired, their lack of rotations off the bench was a bit baffling and could well have been the difference

Apparently from what I have heard it was a very good game. Lockleys however wouldn't be to fussed from what I have heard they had a few out including their captain as well as as one of their best players. Grand Final warm up some may say?

no matter the ins and outs it was 21 v 21 and BOSFC were leading when the siren went..thats all that matters..we know they are the best team in the division so we were proud of our boys efforts and endeavour but we couldnt quite get it done..

ian: we kicked 4.1 - 0.3 into the breeze in the last quarter..both teams were tired but i think those stats dispute your theory..it was a very tough game played at high energy levels and we had 2 guys who were cooked on the bench..you do what you can with what you have available..cheers..

Love your Honesty Zed, no excuses! "BOSFC were leading when the siren went..thats all that matters" Keep ticking them over young fella, you've done this journey before and please remember my Rutland Avenue Friends, "It's a marathon to September not a sprint to Round 4"

A crackin game at Smithfield today.
A 6 goal last quarter saw Smithfield steal the victory from Greenies.

Panthers play their ground well and set up a lot of play from the half back line.

Lane still kills it off half back and Thompson is also good.

Clarke in the centre for Greenies was very good.

I would expect both sides to play finals this year.

Was about to post this result

Looks like smithies 3 goals down at half time didnt even score a goal in 3rd quarter then bag 6 goals in last quarter to get up

Could imagine the good times in the crowd last quarter would have been a great time and night at panther park :)

They certainly had a big crowd cheering them on, their club has come a long way in the last few years.
They seem like a tight bunch of players and supporters and it can be intimidating for opposition teams playing on there deck!
