The selection of Morgan about 15 years ago, was very costly, even if not taking into account missing out on Pavlich. I think that was our selection of a 17 year old.

You're being a bit harsh on Mr Butcher aren't you ;)

And Matty Westoff lol.

Good call.......... Now he was Effin useless that bloke!!!!!!

M Westhoff wasnt great, but his draft year was crap, I dont think there was anyone of much quality drafted after him.

I think one player we were genuinely unlucky with was Bowen Lockwood.

Bowser looked very good until his back curtailed a promising career.

Whilst he only played a handful of games I was never sold on him.
Much like Butcher he promised the world, couldn't kick straight and delivered nothing.

Paul Evans from the magpies was one who never got the chance but looked good early on.

Remember seeing him kick 10 goals or something around that one day at prospect when playing for Centrals

Aaron Shattock, there'a a name. Nathan Lonie, good one Valleys.

Simon Phillips is in there too.

Just went through the drafts from 97>15 and Richmonds just got worse and worse and worse. They should just stay out of the trade period until they get someone in who has seen footy played before.

While on the subject, who has been the worst recruit Port have acquired over the years (recycled players only)?

John Rombotis.
Ian Downsborough
Cameron Cloke
Jimmy Toumpas

Cloke got one game LOL.
Downsborough was in my votes after I realised we snared him from the West.
The Renouf experiment I never understood.

In terms of what they had to give up........surely Rombotis and Downsborough wins hands down.
Didn't Port use two of their 4 priority picks that they could use on uncontracted players on these two clowns?
The other two being Wanganeen and Primus from memory.

Its only 3/4 time against Freo but win or lose, Port can plan their September holidays NOW.
Simply PATHETIC performance against Freo.
Shit defense. Pathetic misses in front of goal.
A team that has so many people fooled.
They are going NOWHERE !!!

Anyone for cricket? **** it.

Terribly disappointed in several players today. Unacceptable by many others. Season officially over.

The honeymoon is over.
He sounds like a great guy and father figure for many players but they need someone more than that.
Someone who can draw the best out of the players and demand better efforts.
I just don't think Ken can do it.
