Game over

Put up a reasonable total and fielding is screwing it up

Plus I put the $20 @ $3 on the tatts twist

That is exactly why the Strikers targeted Hodge last season, he is so cool under pressure and was able to steady the innings scoring a run a ball, then unleas at the end. Ross continues his great form in all formats of the game, having a tremendous season.

Will it be enough against the most powerful batting line up in the tournament?

Reckon its about 20 runs short, That period where we lost the 4 wickets close together will be costly.
Having said that though the runs are on the board

Well the Strikers 187 looks pretty good at moment with the Stars needing 12 an over.

With Maxwell and Hussey in, and Faulkner to come, that will not be enough!

Great catch Jayawardena!

The bowling of Laughlin and Richo the key, but still Stars favourites from here.

How underrated has Ross been in all forms of cricket this season!

Going great guns. Great innings tonight he times the ball so well.

Neaser is poo. Bowls genuine half volleys at medium pace.

We only really lost 3 in the first ten. Head not out, he was looking good to. He had every right to go postal after that decision.

It will be interesting to see if the crowds bandwagon on the Melbourne Rengades, should the Stars struggle. I must admit at last night's game I wrote the Strikers off several times, it looked like they would struggle to post a competitive score, and then when the stars were coasting, bowling Simmons for 1 over (3 runs) rather than neser's fourth over, followed by Laughlins excellent over proved vital.
