How do they win when some of their batsmen get out to the most brainless and incompetent shots that leaves then in an all but hopeless situation? But then people like Samuels who hasnt done anything for the Windies for years comes to the party with 85* n.o. and Carlos Brathwaite who just went BANG !!!!
Needing 19 off the last over, he destroyed Ben Stokes by hitting 4 Sixes in a row
Maybe in the future Stokes might want to leave the premature celebrations to the Windies players as sure enough, it will come back to bite ya.
Just watched Samuels post match interview having a crack at Shane Warne. Said maybe Warne is upset with him because his face is real and Warnes isn't! Take That !!! Lmao

Might want to win a test match before having a crack at Warne. All winning this tournament has done is shown how much of a joke West Indies cricket and this format is

I guess time will tell how "seriously" T/20 world cups really are. Of the 3 international formats, T/20 is a clear last in my eyes. I guess the Windies need to have something to hang their hats on.... so good luck to them.... I guess?

I cant see how this win will help WI cricket either.. surely it will just further highlight to the lazy mugs that they don't need to waste their time in the longer formats, just roll up for 3hrs and play T20.. bulk $$ and glory

Winning it is probably one of the worst things for world cricket as I see them just concentrating on that for good now. I really can't see the Windies playing tests in the future

Was actually good to hear Mark Nicholas get called out also.

How he is in charge of hosting duties on CH 9 is a national disgrace

I didn't hear what the Mark Nicholas comment was, can you bring me up to speed....

On the issue of him being the anchor man/host, I agree would prefer a home grown talent. But who is there. Surely not Slater, Brayshaw is a flog and Taylor has the personality of a cardboard box....

I guess if we won it, one of the stands at Adelaide Oval would have been named after Adam Zampa.

Wow, they win a world cup and get bagged for it?

I'm sure that we'd all be jubilant if we'd won.

Maybe if the pea hearts put as much effort into test cricket many wouldn't have a go at them.

I don't blame them given the mess that the WICB have created and the crap coin they get for representing their country.
