Voss would be good.

Port would be desperate for this to happen so he leaves. Cannot coach to save his life

I know for a fact (via a text message to a friend) that he wanted to knock Barrett's block off last night.
But he composed himself very well.
Had the opportunity to tee off last night and bowed out with the utmost dignity.
Hopefully he finds another job soon. If not in coaching, then I think a role in the media awaits.

Is that why Barrett sat at the other desk?

Head coach is out of his depth IMO (said captain obvious). Reckon he'd be more suited back as an assistant although he alluded to a football managers type role last night didn't he.
One things for sure, if the industry believes the stories Barrett is pedalling about his temper, he probably wont work at another AFL club again.

Dear Marbles.

Pleased to meet you. They named a medal after me and I coached a flag or two.

Sounds like the Lions will get their man in David Noble for football director as soon as tomorrow.

Thoughts on whether this is a good appointment? Don't know a lot about him.

Would imagine Fagan or Ratten will be appointed as coach in the next 2 weeks.

And now Hanley to Gold Coast gaining traction.
Personally I hope they offload Rockliff before Hanley.

From what I saw this year Baron he'd be no loss. He was deadset half hearted most of the games I saw. And/or injured.

Yeah but the guy could be a superstar. Clearly he was terrible this year. Actually cringeworthy to watch.
But I think he's worth keeping as he's the linebreaker we need. New coach could do him the world of good.

Rockliff on the other hand is just an accumulator. Kind of a 2nd rate Sam Mitchell.

On a more positive note, David Noble officially joined the Lions today. Great news.
