The saddest thing is I watched an Adelaide Oval security guard actually, like really properly, assault a Central supporter last year in the EF against Norwood last year. That drew about three posts. I was treated like a trouble maker by the SMA when I rang to report it.

Fester mouthing off, no offence intended but hardly an isolated incident, results in four pages and coverage in the Murdoch gutter press.

The whole Cornes clan have never liked us, nor have we liked them. Our supporters gave him some good stick and he couldn't handle it, end of story.

I have read the entire thread, with great interest.

FWIW, I think its clearly an over reaction by a couple of recently retired AFL footballers - using the vehicle of their association with the Media & Media people to 'beat up' what can only be described as a minor altercation.

I think we need to hear from the former Federal Candidate for Boothby on the issue.

The argument about 'Family Friendly' doesn't really 'wash' IMHO because there is a designated Family Friendly Area @ each ground & I'm pretty sure none of these are in front of the largest Bar in the ground. If one doesn't wish one's children to hear bad language or witness "ferals" behaving poorly, perhaps one should lock one's children in their bedrooms? Although, they'll probably access that sort of thing on Youtube or Social Media, anyway!

Surely, going to the footy, standing on the Hill, sinking a few beers & engaging in (mostly) humorous & witty banter with opposition supporters is all most of us have left in terms of seeking some 'Middle-Aged Fun'? If that were to cease, what would the Crowds @ SANFL matches look like then?

SANFL needs to have a chat to Kane if what Fester is reporting is true.

Kane himself says it wasn't any personal abuse at him that got him upset.

Just a bloke with a massive ego trying to take things into his own hands. And now has had a crack at the entires leagues fans via the media due to it.
