There are only 2 games this weekend where top 8 teams are playing each other - Friday night and then Sunday afternoon. This might suggest that Saturday is the uninspiring day?

How can Melbourne vs Brisbane not inspire the common man.....

Heading over to watch Cats v Pies Saturday. Hopefully we smash them but I'm a bit worried, as for some reason, that mob seem to have had the wood over us.
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
No
Well you haven't seen everything then have you.

It inspires me much more than Saturday does to tell the truth.
GWS v Bulldogs looks much more appealing than anything on Saturday.

David King.... Fair dinkum!

Runs off all his stats on certain teams and then goes out on a limb and says the Dogs are the real deal.... Onya Kingy, if Geelong played all their games at Skilled Stadium, Hawthorn all theirs at the G, WCE at Simmonds and Sydney all their matches at the SCG I reckon they would all have lost at best 1 match and have % of 240%. The dogs have played all their matches under a roof and the only match away they have played a team who sits outside the 8 and haven't been close to a final in a gazillion years. Any chance he could hold back and see how they go away against a good team or 2.

His back slapping of Richmond in the preseason and now slamming their list is just the tip of the ice berg when it comes to him jumping to conclusions.

I would love to hear what club coaching committee's say about him off camera.

Round 9 shaping up as a tipsters nightmare.... the way I see it 5 or even 6 games could go either way. I see Geelong & North as certainties. Hanging on the Booney preview!
