Don't even know the Chalmers family, but so stoked for them.

I was once a member of Kyle's first swimming club. Imagine if I tried

Brilliant swim. The commentators were dribbling shit though when they referred to his old man as a champion footballer. McEvoy was a class act there, both straight after the race and in his interview.

You probably never hear "Victorias own" because you don't live there

Rather see headlines say SA's own with someone like Chalmers than when aussie media try and claim someone else like say Russell Crowe

Not needy for attention, just proud he's come from here and made it on the big stage

Hard to say he wasn't a champion SA footballer.

The Pom in this heat has a fair advantage, he's got a beak the size of the winged keel from Australia 2.

Good to see Daniel Schell winning the silver medal for Belgium behind Kyle Chalmers. He's aged well.

So it appears Port Powers best performance in 2016 has come from a swimming pool in South America.
1961, 1971, 1976, 1978, 1983, 1986, 1988, 1989, 1991, 2008, 2013, 2014, 2015.... And don't you forget it!
