Both sides will like thier chances against each other the next time they meet. North lost most of thier Engine room but I thought we were on top early before they started dropping like ninepins. Will we play that well when Hawkins comes back? Starting to wonder.
Dangerfield and a Selwood were just massive. North badly missed thier tagger Jacobs and Goldy clearly wasn't fit. But then again, those fitness problems were us last year and I don't remember us getting a pass from the footy world. Next up, the Bulldogs.

It won't matter because there won't be a next time this year. Nth will end up bottom 8 and out in first week of finals. Looked at their draw friday and they're rooted
Lol - it's quite an achievement that you're able to post at all with those massive chips on both your shoulders
Anyways, to last night. Really filthy with the club playing Goldy when clearly he's still not right, it was evident from the start. Despite Geelong being the better side for more of the first half, we had a nice little patch towards halftime which resulted in four straight to go in a couple up.
Third qtr and the game is effectively over, blitzed in the first ten mins, couldn't buy a clearance or get our hands on the ball & Geelong kicked them from everywhere. Yes we had multiple injuries & yes they were the areas that we got belted in, but in the end we weren't good enough.
I'd be very confident against Geelong next time with Swallow on the park, Cunnington & Dal Santo not hobbling on one leg & Nahas without a compound fracture in his finger. Add the return of Higgins, Jacobs, Garner & Wright & it might make a little difference...
Hawks & Crows the next two weeks, both off 6 day breaks. Big test.
