R11 - Norwood v Adelaide @ Coopers

NORWOOD
Norwood co-captain Jace Bode will make his long-awaited return against Adelaide at Coopers Stadium on Sunday.
Sidelined by a serious ankle injury suffered against Glenelg in Round 4, Bode has been injected straight back into League action after being named at half-back.
The left-footer has been joined by goalsneak Josh Donohue, who has overcome his latest calf strain.
Donohue will effectively replace fellow small forward Simon Phillips, who will miss up to a month with an ankle ailment.
Triple premiership defender Ben Jefferies was unable to recover from a hamstring strain he reported during the match against the Eagles last Saturday.
Former Glenelg ruckman Josh Miller is in line to play his first IGA League match for the Redlegs after being named in the forward pocket.
Dylan Auciello, who has played just one League match in Round 12 last year, has been named on the extended interchange bench.
Swingman Michael Chippendale, who underwent a scan on his knee earlier in the week, will play his 50th IGA League match should he take his place against the Crows.

Adelaide has gained significant leg speed for its clash with Norwood at Coopers Stadium on Sunday.
Speedy goalsneak Wayne Milera and utility Ricky Henderson have been named on each wing to face the Redlegs after being cut from AFL duty.
Development players Matthew Leigh, Dylan Schoenmakers and Tyson Lindsay have all been included on the five-man extended interchange bench.
Former Crows captain Nathan van Berlo couldn’t be considered due to a foot injury while David Mackay has been recalled by senior coach Don Pyke having built form and fitness after a hamstring strain.
Ex-Port Magpie Trent Heffernan has been sent back to his local club, Port Districts.

This could be an ugly game for Norwood. Adelaide Reserves look to be a quick unit up forward and I'm not sure the Legs will have the legs to cope that. Sadly Adelaide Reserves by plenty, say 55-60 points in a game where the points difference may well be greater than the number of Adelaide Supporters at the match.

Norwood will bottle the game up at home as they do. Ravens to strong but not by as much as people think.

Reckon we should release all the Port and Norwood grandmas into a coliseum together, armed with handbags and knitting needles and settle this once and for all!
