Get to set both games Richmond games in Adelaide again next season.

We rarely play Port Adelaide in Melbourne. Since 1997 we have made 18 trips to Adelaide to play the Power for a 6-12 record
8 games in Melbourne for 3-4-1 record and going 0-1 in Darwin

2017 season

Interstate

SA 2 games
WA 1 game
QLD 2 games
NSW 1 game

Melbourne

MCG 10 Home 1 Away
Ethiad 1 Home 3 Away
Geelong 1 Away

Disappointed that we have no Friday night games. That will hurt the leagues attendance figures in prime time as our crowds are always good no matter how we are traveling.

Could be some very poor attendances on Friday night looking at some of the fixtures. Oh well the AFL always knows what it is doing????

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.

Have yourselves good year and you'll get massive crowds.
What would the AFL's dream crowds season scenario look like? I am thinking a top 8 made up of Carlton, Collingwood, Essendon, Richmond, Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney and we probably should count Hawthorn in that category these days.
Anyone I have forgotten?
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

The AFL Dream eight would be: The big four in Melbourne crowds wise are: Carlton, Collingwood, Richmond and Essendon. Hawthorn have 70 K members and of the interstate clubs the two biggest are West Coast and Adelaide with respect to memberships and being the dominant supporter base in their respective state markets. chuck Sydney in for the commercial opportunities of the biggest market in Australia or Geelong who are big in regional Victoria especially in the populous south West.

AFL would love a prelim final weekend ofany of those six Melbourne clubs
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Friday night in the middle of winter is about ratings, not crowds. There's a reason the Dogs and Adelaide have 7 or 8 Friday night games, rating bonanza.

Talk about shit time slots and two years in a row the Adelaide home Showdown is twilight Sunday. Doesn't bother me too much, but it's a bit of a back handed compliment. Sunday twilight, Showdown, the crowd will come anyway but it's by far and away the worst timeslot of the weekend.

It's probably the one game for the weekend that I can safely predict that I'll watch, nothing like a Sunday afternoon red while watching the footy getting a lamb roast ready.

The fixture has the occasional anomaly like that.

2017 will be the first time we play North Melbourne in Adelaide since 2012.

Good news: Allowed to field a decent side

Don't know about shit but we won't be a contender next year. If everything clicks maybe could sneak into the 8 at best but more likely just out of it

True, Port held off a fast finishing St Kilda from memory. The 4 year span I was referring to was 2014-2017.
