McMahon, Read and Cheesedale to Glenunga. That's 3 guys who have played League footy. The Rams are going to be real hard to stop in 2017 and if these 3 stay fit will be there when the whips are cracking in September. I think Teasdale may have won the reserves Magery whatever that is called. As can be the way I'd expect a couple more to follow as the season gets closer and SANFUL clubs make their pre season cuts.

They are signed, sealed and delivered. This is fact not rumour.

I did hear a rumour that Wade Thompson is headed there as well but haven't looked into that one.

The only rumour is that his name is Cheesedale. The rest is fact.

I actually read back over this topic and the winner of the Kaiser Solze award goes to Pooraka.
Retained their team and nearly made finals in Div 4, 12 new players and not a single whisper in 8 pages.
Seems like a few posters may have been gagged.
It might be all about Bulls and Rams on GF day in about 9 months time

I don't care how good you are, 3 players don't make a team. Glenunga have no depth.

4 league footballers in their early-mid 20s and one of the biggest growing junior programs in the State is a pretty good place to start building it.

Not a single whisper? A north heaven bloke tipped'em to win the flag, I've tipped them as well & they have the most votes on the poll...

Depth is a concern for the rams.

Its all going to come up Millhouse for the Bulls. They even have a new you beaut playground from what I'm told. Quinlivan avenue is going to rocking on a Saturday night like the days of old.
As for the Rams I agree with 10 going to the Roy's depth will be tested but they have a pretty good plan in place for 2017 and have a few people around their club who can make playing for them worthwhile. Throw in a quality coach, good facilities and an International High School with 2,000 kids and no nearby local (non college) club. The Rams are on the way up.

I suspect me living under a rock for all things football since September might have something to do with it, but what have I missed here?

Jimmy played 7 games and Bradford 6 in 2016, Dowling moved to SMOSH last year.

More than handy players for us and we're stoked to have them, especially considering we've lost more than a few, but with as much respect as possible I don't think Lockley's would be too concerned given the standard of their list.

Their is a few CBC lads who have played a game or 2 for us while they were at school, played SANFL last season but I can't really remember names off the top of my head. I haven't heard of any SANFL lads training with CBCOCFC.

Glenunga must have a good money tree to pay these players.

Interesting choice to go from playing Reserves football in 2016 to Div 5 in 2017
