Our pre-season kicks off on Nov 15 and goes to Dec 22

Unofficially, we've already started with a group PT session at Rock Solid gym on Tuesday nights

If you look at Woody Sth and West Croydon from the season just gone. Both teams destroyed us because the main core were of a decent fitness and could spread all over the ground all day, while we only had a handfull that could. We are doing everything we can to push into finals this season something the club has never done in D6 before. So starting in November is a must for us this season.

Chatted with a few EFC boys at the Gawler Cup yesterday.
There's a lot of positivity and Dave Rogers is heading them in the right direction.
They're not talking flags but consistency, competitiveness and development.
Great signs.

I reckon if you had a fitness test in Round 18 between Houghton and Woody South, there wouldn't be that much difference at all.

to quote the great and legendary Richie McCaw from his Chasing Great film - "its not about being fitter or faster, its about getting there with a shorter distance than your opponent".

Dave is a quality bloke, didn't have the biggest frame running around the park but was a great player with awesome skills and footy brain.

Success wont happen overnight but if he remains at the helm there for some time the success will come along with the culture of the place will attract others to head out there.
