So we are barracking for the Poms today.

If they win our game against them is the quarter final for us with them already through and the rain needs to F right off.

310 should be enough if the Poms bowl and field well.

Great result.
1) England through means they might not be quite as switched on for our match with them.
2) Unless the winner of NZ vs Bang really smash the other, a washout vs England will likely get us through now.

Eng 4 - washout moves them to 5
Aust 2 - washout moves us to 3 - with a NRR of 0.00

Bang and NZ both 1, with negative NRR - so provided the winner doesn't smash the other, they will go to 3 and retain a -ve NRR. - EDIT: Not true, if we finish equal on 3, NRR is not the first tie-breaker, games won is, and the winner of NZ vs Bang will have one, as such, a washout/tie isn't good enough for us if Bang/NZ gets a winner.

In theory, a small loss to England could get us through as well, provided Bang and NZ is washed out.

What a pointless competition. 50 over cricket is dead and we basically have 2 world cups. A washout and Australia could get through basically not playing a game. Wrap it up and keep flogging the T20 cricket.

I think the 50 over format is a strategical game that can ebb and flow many times during a match.

I don't mind it.

Agreed.

It's just his tournament has been a joke due to the shitty English weather. Before Australia's game against New Zealand Ricky Ponting was saying the weather there had been uncharacteristically dry for this time of year. He jinxed it as we've now had to washouts with a third pending. Our squad is the strongest in the competition and it's going to waste because of rain FFS.

Sri Lanka with an epic run chase to defeat India. They reached the target of 332 with 8 balls to spare.

Kohli with a blistering 0 from 5 deliveries.

All 4 teams are on 1 win and 1 loss meaning the last round of matches are effectively knock-out quarter finals.

India vs Sth Africa

Pakistan v Sri lanka

Talk that rain is going to effect the Australian game again on Monday.

Move the game to a better venue today! Plenty of time to go somewhere else

Sheep shaggers have been sent home by the Bangers after they were 4/33 chasing 265 two of them tinned up

Really not sure what that means if we have another washout but easy solution is that we win tonight's quarter final against the unwashed masses

So based on the Pommy bastard weather we would be $1.10 to advance. I'd still like to see us come out and slap 350 with one of the openers going ballistic and Maxy cashing in on the back end.

Surely Hastings is done and Zampa plays he rest of the series after the last start. His wrong un and toppy where both landing nicely.
