What a marvellous effort from a full time player on $650k against a part timer on $20k if they are lucky. And to do it against the worst team in the comp what a star!

Jim. Correct me if wrong but do not Essendon do the same, along with other AFL clubs in the VFL?

I'm sure any Essendon supporters pumping their tyres about the exploits of their players in such a situation, would also be eligible for receiving a sardonic response.

Couldn't even tell you how our guys are going. Have pretty much zero interest on how AFL guys beat up on part timers

South big win at Elizabeth

South worked harder, their work ethic was far superior. Centrals should be ashamed with that performance, absolutely pathetic. How we didn't lose by 100+ is beyond me, absolute garbage.

I'm not too fussed if people want to have a go. I have repeatedly said over the years how it is a disgrace what has happened to the VFL and that comp has been dead for years but unfortunately we didn't take notice and now we are heading down that path.

To all West Adelaide supporters
Mark the days on your calendar, only 2 weeks until you play the worst team in the league. You can look forward to an enjoyable day at the football with no opposition and a 5 - 10 goal win. ](*,)

You could pick 21 supporters (male and female) from the crowd put them in WA jumpers and still win!

Give eagles the cup now. Far superior midfield.

Agreed if the Cup was awarded for the minor Premiership. Everyone knows the Eagles record in finals though so it's far from a done deal.
Having said that I think they could give us a touch up on Friday night, we are still a fair bit off the pace IMO

Correct.
Westies to go 0 and 18 this year.
Wouldn't beat the best team in the SAAFL at the moment.

Yes, it happens. Like you, I don't see much point in celebrating feats made under those conditions.

No, unfortunately I am absolutely serious. We wouldn't beat the lowest ranked AFLW team. If we played our Reserves team we would lose.
My team is worse than yours.
At this time in 2 weeks time I expect an apology, especially for the dick comment.

The Westies reserves are top of the ladder undefeated. How does that work? Not enough league standard players at West Adelaide?

South kicked the first 6 goals at Elizabeth and were never threatened. The lead shot out to about 9 goals in the last before the Dogs added a few late.

Played some very good football in patches today. Worked much harder than the Dogs and cut them up through the middle of the ground. Also had the better of the aerial battles. Liked the games of some of the 'lesser lights'- Ellison, Heaslip, Taylor, Hunter etc. Joel Cross uncharacteristically quiet with 9 touches.

Dogs are the worst team I've seen so far this year, and the crowd was the smallest I've been apart of at Elizabeth. Problems at the Ponderosa.

Absolutely SB, Noarlunga crowds have been awful. Certainly felt/looked like fewer South supporters there yesterday than usual @ Eliz.

Noticed Hanna was best in your twos. Somewhat surprised he hasn't been able to cement his spot the past few seasons.

Tight, tough finals like pressure game at Alberton. Thought the Eags were the toughest at the ball I have seen them for some time. They also played smart footy, maintaining possession until an opening occurred rather than bombing the ball long and getting it turned over. Allmond continues his stellar form and the whole backline was resolute. Hall racked up stats and is getting back to his best form.

Can any North supporters fill me in on how Schwarz and Appleton are going?
