Those losses would have been pretty close for most part

Good to see someone add some intelligence to the debate.
The world doesn’t revolve around the Power or Crows!

Used Port as an example as i know our fixture more in depth than others, wouldn't matter if it was Port or not.

West Coast is a better example. Was knocked out in the semi finals and only get 1 Thursday night and 1 Friday night game.

Games in the West are always harder because they have to start at funky times

I know, they were just the first team i could think of that wouldn't have many Thurs/Fri night games other than Port

Carlton ranked 4th last season for average attendance at matches. This is with only one 'AFL setup' blockbuster being the round 1 season opener with Richmond. Anyone have the stats on the average or total tv viewers per team 2017

Got some ratings figures to back that up?

Here's a chart

I tried to find a graph for Ports Friday night games but apparently there is insufficient data to produce one.

Maybe I should have googled shithouse time slots? ;)

Okay teams with Thursday Night & Friday Night games list below plus have also added the blockbusters in that are on Monday-Wednesday's

Adelaide - 7
Brisbane - 0
Carlton - 5
Collingwood - 3 (Plus 2 Blockbusters)
Essendon - 5 (Plus 1 Blockbuster)
Fremantle - 0
GWS - 1
Geelong - 5 (Plus 1 Blockbuster)
Gold Coast - 0
Hawthorn - 1 (Plus 1 Blockbuster)
Melbourne - 1 (Plus 2 Blockbusters)
Nth Melbourne - 1 (Gd Friday)
Port - 3
Richmond - 7 (Plus 1 Blockbuster)
St. Kilda - 4 (including Gd Friday)
Sydney - 7
West Coast - 2
Western Bulldogs - 4

So off that list - Sydney & Carlton look to be the most looked after. Can argue that Sydney have been up the top for a long time now so we aren't going to suffer watching the Swans 7 times on prime time unlike Carlton! I actually enjoy watching Sydney on a Friday night. GWS only the 1. Yes they may have only a couple thousand supporters but they play good footy and are one of the top sides that would have a lot of people watching on TV. Melbourne stiff as well with only the 1. IMO, Carlton should have no more than 1-2 games on prime time TV and that is being nice!

Like dealing with 4 year olds. Ok, I'll go slowly.

Carlton are shit.

Carlton got 5 prime time TV spots in 2018.

They don't deserve them.

This has nothing to do with Port's draw.

Geddit?

I figured as much.

( But you're a Port supporter and everything you say about any side must be directly related back to your team ).
