Only 3 games worth watching this weekend and not one of them on Saturday.

Adelaide v Richmond, Sydney v Port and Geelong v Hawthorn the only ones I'll bother with.
PAFC. Forever.

LOOK OUT, WE'RE COMING!

Massive game for the Crows .. Looking a little underdone and with some injury concerns they're potentially staring at a slow start to the season. Need to be 1-1 after this round or it gets tough imho, and Richmond have the game to roll them.

Richmond @ $2.30 looks inviting at this early stage.

Bulldogs were awful and have injury concerns. West Coast looked ok in patches. Nic Nat makes such a huge difference around the stoppages. Loved how he pummeled Smith with that tackle. Eagles a sneaky chance

The fact we actually ended up ahead in the free kick count for once and it was in Perth should be applauded. Umpires didn’t cost the eagles the game.

The Eagles poor forward 50 entries in the first half gave Sydney the healthy buffer, the poor umpiring decisions in the second half thwarted any hopes of a comeback as they mounted several comebacks, there were a few 2 goal plays as Sydney counter-attacked in a hurry.

Very surprising on a few counts: West Coast getting a rough deal at home, and especially the first game in their new stadium. However the one that shocked me the most was Dean Margetts was umpiring - it would’ve cut deep that he couldn’t get the Eagles up in Perth...

Especially with Gil there, I liked when he was asked at half time about Buddy kicking ten.

Our back 6 were excellent.

For sure, it was like the WCE midfield were passing to them, their one on one pressure was awesome too, probably helped big time with Kennedy missing as there was no strong focal point at all, Darling struggles with the 2nd or 3rd tall defender.
