D7:
Para Hills vs Houghton
OSB Lonsdale vs Flinders Uni

D7R:
Houghton vs Mitchell Park
Flinders Uni vs Para Hills

C6 (Round 18):
Houghton vs Ingle Farm
Para Hills bye

So guessing Houghton will host their B grade at home after the C grade match, Flinders Uni will head to Para Hills and possible earlier start for the B grade?

I'd assess this as:

The Paddocks
D7 - Para Hills v Houghton
D7R - Flinders Uni v Para Hills

Lonsdale
D7 - OSB Lonsdale v Flinders Uni
D7R - Houghton v Mitchell Park
C6 - Houghton v Ingle Farm

Unless the league gives OSB a cheaper price and only the one game.

As in both B grade matches, or as in both Houghton matches?

Apologies.

Para Hills to host a triple header if they choose too. I doubt the league and Houghton would want the hassle of two grounds for the day. A grade team takes priority

Disregard.... Must be monday. I totally skipped the part where PH were in the 2's

The C6 is a minor round game, would they relocate?

Guess either way, if Houghton A/B and Flinders Uni A/B are at opposite ends of the state, have to consider adjusting start times maybe like 12:00 and 2:30pm?

I can only assume who that is. Has he played any of those 4 games?

Didn't put together that C6 would still be playing minor round. Got no idea in that case.

Don't you have to set foot on the ground before half time for it to count as a game?

That’s a new one! Even if that was a rule good luck proving that when interchanges aren’t recorded.

Nope, as long as he was kitted up and sitting on the bench, that would be fine to qualify for games played towards finals

I once "played" a game of C Grade by being fully kitted up, but working on the complete opposite side of the oval from the bench setting up a sponsor's day function on the basis I was only to go on the field if we got four injuries at once. Good times and still claim it in the tally.

Reality is, not much anyone can do about it - and I'm sure all clubs at some points of the season or over the years have tried to manipulate selections to assist qualifying blokes.

Good luck to Para Hills if this is the path they choose - personally I'd be pissed if a player who hadn't played a game for the club walked into a finals side - especially the A grade. Still the player in question is a good player, and could make a difference in the big games, so guess as a club you weigh up the cost of winning over culture.

Had a quick perusal of the seniors and juniors rules and it doesn't appear to be in either. Must have made it up.
