What??

He found it as in it was never missing like what he had done previously or found as in 'its been handed' back by the people who took it.

I thought it was a load of frog shit from the outset, just adding to the hype of his last test, how ironic that it was his out of all the players possible?

Would’ve made a special story to have tonned up and then bang, the cap re-appeared.

I listened to the ABC coverage for the first time this summer yesterday first session. Must say the coverage felt as flat as most of us feel about the cricket this summer.

As crap as Smith seems to have gone over the past 12 months, his numbers are still quite impressive.

He set such lofty standards previously.

Any chance that Marnus or Smith don’t hang around and stare at the pitch for an eternity?
Marnus got a good one, just acknowledge it and get off

What you should have posted

To all the Smith and Marnus haters , if they are dismissed today, you will get to see them for an extra 10 seconds before heading off the ground

I can't believe you have a year to prepare a wicket for a test match and it falls apart after 2 and a bit days, lost half a days play as well.
Shit effort.

Agree. Maybe just seems the last 3-4 years however long has taken its toll a bit and he doesnt have the mental patience he had during the bradmanesque period.

As you said though is still averaging in the 40's which is acceptable for most blokes.

You blokes must have got incensed at that English batter who always replayed his shot on the ball he got out on. I think it was either Strauss or Vaughn

Time to give the NYD test to Adelaide methinks.

Haha, I like it, but imagine the shitshow that would cause? We earned the right really, and will turn up on day 1 in numbers that even the SCG can't hold if we get that slot (ironical weather permitting)

Would we really want the NYE Test. I imagine at some point it will go back to being the 5th test of the summer and in so many cases nothing but a dead rubber.
My point is that the NYD test should be held at a venue where it doesn't rain and there are no light issues in the first week of January.

But yes I think we'd get a bigger crowd than Sydney and it would be a good test to have.

It's only the Ashes that have five test series now anyway.

I have to disagree with this. In a bit of trouble here or there, but still getting the crowds it's always had at most venues and clearly the eyeballs.
